Place it once, not once per page
Marking a long document by hand is the slow part of watermarking. Here
you position the text on a single page and it is written to every page
at the same spot, scaled to each page's size — so a mixed document with
A4 and landscape pages still comes out consistent. If only some pages
need marking, untick All pages and choose them.
The text stays real text
The watermark is written into the PDF as text rather than flattening
every page into a picture. The document stays sharp at any zoom,
the existing text stays selectable and searchable, and the file size
hardly moves — unlike tools that rasterise the whole document.
Nothing leaves your device
The PDF is opened, stamped and saved in your browser using your own
device. It is never uploaded, so there is no page or size limit and
your document stays private.
Frequently asked questions
How do I add a watermark to every page of a PDF?
Drop the PDF in, type your text and place it once on the page shown. That same position is used on every page automatically — you never have to repeat it page by page.
Can I watermark only some pages?
Yes. Untick “All pages”, then tap the pages you want in the page strip. Only the selected pages are stamped; the rest are left exactly as they were.
Does the watermark stay selectable text?
Yes. The text is written into the PDF as real text rather than a flattened image, so the document stays sharp at any zoom and the file size barely changes.
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. The document is opened, stamped and saved inside your browser on your own device. It is never sent to a server, so there is no page limit and nothing is stored.
Can I use Hindi or other Indian languages?
Not yet — the watermark supports English letters, numbers and basic punctuation. If you type a character that cannot be written into the PDF the tool tells you which one, rather than failing when you download.
